Ed,
This is my version of the VISA commercial.
Cost of season passes to Valleyfair: $175.00.
Cost of food and drink while at the park: $20.00.
Being able to see the Ed Alonzo show, Priceless.
I cannot express to you enough my thanks for making this past Friday such a special day for my family. I my wildest dreams I never imagined that you would invite us backstage and give us an “insiders” look at a top-notch magic show. Somehow “thank you” does not seem like enough. To give you an idea of how this show impacted my two boys Zach and Parker here was the rest of my weekend. On Saturday they rigged up the living room to resemble as closely as possible the dancing hank trick. On Sunday they hauled down the fan down from their bedroom and rather creatively built a replica of your final illusion where you float across the
stage. This was set up in our main floor play room which is adjacent to our living room. In other words, our main living area was transformed into your stage area. He also was doing a pretty good impression of you wearing his black pants, white shirt, black vest, and his Harry Potter glasses.
Despite your best efforts at downplaying your talents, Zach and Parker now understand just how impressive of a magician you are. We spent some time on the Internet over the weekend reviewing some of your awards and recognition’s and they were very impressed by your stature in the magic community. The toughest thing to explain to them was how someone like yourself can be so very good at what they do and yet be humble. Having you as a role model will do more for teaching my boys about humility and the value of doing good deeds for others than I could have done alone in years.
Thank you again for your kindness. We should be back at the park in the next several weeks. If it is okay, we will stop in and say “hi” again.
Best wishes,
Pete and Family

Been a huge fan since the 1990s’ when I discovered you, with millions of other young people, on Saved By The Bell. Listen, I’M thrilled to find your site, but how can I order an autographed photo? I, and lots of other fans would buy one, so if nothing else, take this as a suggestion to put on your site! Man, its great to be able to contact you!
Sincerely,
William Byron

Hi my name is David Blascyk. My girlfriend and I just went to your show at Valleyfair. We both enjoyed it very much (that trick where your assistant turns out to be you still baffles me) and my girlfriend especially liked
when Bob the Duck drove around in that little Beetle. She thought that was absolutely hilarious and she was almost rolling around in her seat from laughter.
your fan,
David Blascyk

Thank you! You’re show was awesome. It was so entertaining. There wasn’t a dull moment. I enjoyed seeing it multiple times to see how the crowd reacted and how you worked with different situations. It was really cool how you went out of your way to meet us.
Take Care,
Tim

Ed,
I just wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed your show last Friday. My daughter treasures the magic wand/giant playing card. I especially enjoyed the fan suspension that you performed. It is quick, highly visual and very strong…and the audience loved it! It was great to see such a highly original show, and it was great to see that you were fresh and excited about your performance.
All the best,
Dan

Hey Ed,
We truly did enjoy your show. Our eldest son, John, laughed so hard we thought he would pee his pants when you took the bra out of his brothers shirt. John is 8, both are very good boys. Keep up your great work, and we will be back to ValleyFair to see you again and again. Wish we could spend more time with just your show.

Dear Ed:
I hope all is well with you. I am planning to come see you in December Knott’s was such a good show last year, that I’m not sure I want to go to the Haunt this year, as it may be a let down compared to last year, without you there. Looking forward to your performance at the Magic Castle in December.
Sincerely,
Cheri Johnson

Hi! My name is Mike Bednarek and I am a huge fan of yours. I have had the opportunity to watch you on Saved By the Bell and thought you were awesome. I have to say that you are definitely one of my favorite actors. You have done a great job and I really admire all that you have been able to accomplish throughout your career acting on the show. Hopefully we will see you back on TV soon with your own magic special. That would really be awesome… You really are one of the best!

Hello Mr. Alonzo,
last year in October my daughter and myself saw your show at Knott’s Berry Farm. We were so impressed that we went again in the same month to see your show again. To make a long story short, my daughter has been getting good grades in school and I promised her that I will take her to see your show in Thousand Oaks. Is there a chance that you will perform at Knott’s Berry Farm this October? I would to thank you in advance and thank you for taking the time to read my e-mail.

I was recently on the Norwegian Dawn and I can’t thank you enough on how hard you made me laugh. I’m now a big fan and if you are ever in the New York area performing, I will be there. I also go to Las Vegas, so maybe I will be lucky enough to see you performance once again. I wanted to ask you that question on the cruise but I did not want to bother you. My step daughter and her aunt did get in a picture with you on the last night at Dazzle’s. So thank you for the time.

Hi Mr.Alonzo,
You are one of the greatest magicians I have ever seen. I’m really impressed by all the tricks you do because it’s really exciting.
I’m also you’re greatest fan. I am really surprised that you had started being a magician as a kid. You have a lot of talent by making puppets, playing instruments, and other stuff. As for me, I play the piano. I could even play “Moonlight” on it. I remember seeing you on “Saved by the bell” you were great. I think you have a wonderful personality to make an audience crack-up until they pee in their pants.
Sincerely, your biggest fan,
Melanie
—————————————————————————————————————————–Hi Ed,
My name is Charles Leonardo. I met you at the Panasonic event in San Antonio. I want to tell you, myself and everyone there really enjoyed your show. I heard many talking about it the next day.
I am a part time professional magician on the East coast. I love magic and have been performing since I was 6 years old and I am still performing at age 41. I never went into magic full time as I got tied up into the family life!. When my kids are old enough I may go into it full time.
Your magic is very entertaining and I love how you add your personality to your routines. You are very creative in an excellent way.
I am somewhat like you. My main goal is to entertain the audience, magic is second. A lot of magicians are to technical and loose there audience. Comedy and magic is the best medicine. And you are the best at that.
I am a member of IBM and SAM. I go to many conventions. I also read Genii, Magic, Linking Ring. I have seen many magicians and your style, comedy and magic is top notch.
—————————————————————————————————————————–Hello Ed,
My family and I saw you on the NCL Dawn a few weeks ago. We also ordered your DVD on line. My whole family enjoyed it. I hope our paths cross again as I would love to see your performance again. If you are ever on the East coast we will be there.
Keep up the good work!
Thanks again,
Charles Leonardo

I caught your show on Thursday Oct 20th in the Shultz Theater for the first time ever. I had an opportunity to watch it once, while I was employed at Knott’s but could not because things got crazy out in the Parking Lots. Anyway I must say your show is Excellent. I totally regret not being able to see it the years before. You and Bob the Duck are Great performers. What made it even better was how you blended Magic with Comedy, and your Dancers WOW!!! I am going to make it a point to go watch your show at Haunt, as long as you are there. Thanks so much for your time, and the laughs, maybe next time I’ll be able to score a picture with you Bob the Duck, and the Girls.
A new fan

—————————————————————————————————————————–I had the privilege over this past weekend of seeing you at Knott?s’ Halloween Haunt and I was truly amazed. You are by far the funniest and most amazing magician/performer I have ever seen.
The ad-libbed one liner you had said to the audience participant named Caesar was hilarious (you had said you liked him on your salads). Classic! Also, the duck card/straight jacket feat, still has me scratching my head. How in the heck did you do that? Awesome!
Anyhoo…. I look forward to seeing you again and Bravo Ed…Bravo!
A new fan for life.
Homer.
—————————————————————————————————————————–Hey Ed,
This is your typical fan mail. I have seen you every year at Knott’s Scary Farm and even remember when you got to perform in the BIG theater and the year you did that weird ghost–flying-through-the-theatre thing. (And yes I even remember you on “Saved By The Bell”) My favorite trick is the troll caring the suit case set to “Manamana. I will be attending this Friday Sept 30, 2005 w/ my girlfriend. Thanks for very entertaining show.
Rob
